We recognize that everything belongs to God. When people choose to invest His resources with Reaching Souls, we have a duty to spend God’s money wisely. For that reason, we carefully evaluate our expenditures to make sure we are investing our resources where they can have the greatest impact.
In addition, we believe in complete transparency. Every year we are audited by an independent accounting firm. The results of that audit are published on our website with hard copies available upon request.
We are overseen by an independent Board of Directors that regularly evaluates our income, expenditures, and results. The members of our Board also determine the compensation of our President and CEO based on the ministry's current performance and the compensation provided by comparable organizations.
Because of our commitment to integrity and the prudent use of God’s resources, we have been recognized with a 4-star rating for financial accountability and reporting by Charity Navigator for seven consecutive years, a distinction held by only 3% of non-profits that Charity Navigator reviews. In addition, Reaching Souls is a member in good standing of the ECFA and has been since 1994. Founded in 1979, ECFA provides accreditation to leading Christian nonprofit organizations that faithfully demonstrate compliance with established standards for financial accountability, transparency, fundraising, and board governance. Members include Christian ministries, denominations, churches, educational institutions, and other tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations.
